DEBORAH ANN PROCTOR,
49, of Kingston died unexpectedly Sunday, August 22, 2010 in her home. She was born June 11, 1961 in Cass City to Dale and Nancy (Heineman) Cummings. She married Walter “Rock” Proctor October 11, 1985 in Kingston.
Debbie worked for Gus’ Party Store in Mayville, Kingston Grocery Store and later for Kingston Times. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and Detroit Tiger Baseball. Deb loved watching the kids play sports, going to garage sales, playing the lottery and spending time with friends. She loved her time with her grandchildren and her dog and best friend, Jack Russell.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Rock; children: Corey McEldowney (Chris Michalski) of Kingston, Rocky Lee Proctor of Marlette, Jennifer (Luke) Krug of Kingston; mother, Nancy (Donald) Legg of Tipton, OK; step-mother, Judy Cummings of Kingston; grandchildren: Bo Mickelson, Gavin Michalski, Peyton Michalski, Lauren Krug, Luke Henry Krug; brothers: Jim (Beth) Cummings of Willow Springs,NC, Chris (Debra) Legg of Joplin, MO, Daryl ‘Dewey’ (Tammy) Cummings of Caro; sisters: Cheryl Luckett of Tipton, OK, Dawn (Keith) Stephens of Edmond, OK, Deb Cummings of Ferndale, Washington; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Cummings; grandparents: Sherwood and Joyce Heineman, Eugene ‘Jim’ and Delilah Cummings, Keith and Virginia Fockler.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Debra Brown of Kingston United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery.
