PEGGY SUE “PEG” FINLEY 

Peggy S. Finley, 70, of North Branch went home to be with her Lord on January 27, 2024 in McLaren Flint with family by her side.  She was born December 10, 1953 in Goodrich to Raymond and Betty (Welsh) Finley.   

Peg loved being creative, whether by writing children’s stories, painting, crafting, or gardening.  She had the kindest soul and loved to help anyone in need.  Peg treasured spending time with her great nephew and great nieces: Grayson, Marlee, and Brynlee.  

Peg leaves to cherish her memory her siblings:  Ray (Marsha) Finley, Maryann (Herman) Thompson, Wes Finley, Tom (Roseanne) Finley, Millie (Don) Boots, Ben (Michele) Finley, Al Finley, Dan (Michelle) Finley, Alice (David) Smith, Woody (Mitzi) Finley, Robert (Wendy) Finley; daughter in her heart, Jessica (Timmy) Brown; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; good friends:  Jane Strom, Sally Moore.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cathy Martin; brothers:  Roy Finley, Winston Finley, Ronnie Finley; nephews:   Patrick, (AJ) Albert John, Jacob.     

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Peggy’s life will be held in the summer.  Memorials may be made to your local food bank or pantry in Peg’s name.
