CHARLES �"BUD” CLAIR PEASLEY Charles �"Bud” Peasley, 84, of Deford, died Monday, March 21, 2005 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born October 6, 1920 in Detroit, MI to Claud and Mary (Wilcox) Peasley. He married Ruth Marie Zapfe June 9, 1944 in Manton. Bud farmed with his Dad and worked at Farm Produce Co-op Elevator. He then owned the Sinclair gas station with Earney Seeley. Bud later worked at Cass City High School as a janitor and bus driver. He retired from the Caro Regional Center. Bud served in the Army Air Force. He was a member of Novesta Church of Christ, and lifetime member of Masonic Tyler Lodge #317. Bud was known for giving candy to children. He liked to hunt, loved woodworking and working with his horses. Bud is survived by his wife, Marie; children: Charles (Ruth Ann) Peasley of Cass City, Arlene (Ivan) Paladi of Deford, Claud Ray (Donella) Peasley of Deford; grandchildren: Matthew (Denise) Peasley, Troy Peasley, Shawna Romain, Shellie (Mike) Sarll, Linn (Belinda) Paladi, Amie (Mark) Reneau, Julie (Kurt) Kendziorski, Ted (Heidi) Peasley, Garold (Jamie) Peasley, Randy (Ann) Peasley, Jodie (Greg) Mika; 22 great grandchildren and expecting 3 more; sisters. Claudine (Neil) Hicks, Marjorie (Robert) Kitchen; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leslie and sister, Lucy. Funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2005 in Novesta Church of Christ, with Chuck Emmert officiating. Interment in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City. Military honors under the direction of Cass City VFW Post #3644. Memorials may be made to Novesta Church of Christ.
