PAUL DOUGLAS THOMPSON

 Paul D. Thompson, 56, of Cass City passed unexpectedly Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in his home. He was born March 29, 1968 in Cass City to Melvin Jack and Ann Maxine (Wheeler) Thompson.

 Paul attended Owendale High School, where he played football and basketball, and graduated in 1986. He started his own business, T&T Excavating & Landscaping, in 2021 with his son Gunnar. Paul was very knowledgeable when it came to mechanical work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and recently started golfing. Paul was always willing to help anyone that needed it. He loved his children more than anything.

 Paul is survived by his son, Gunnar (fiancé, Emily Warrington) Thompson of Cass City; daughter, Makayla (fiancé, Lucas Moening) Thompson of Ada, OH; siblings: Melvin (Kathy) Thompson, Rod (Marie) Thompson, Randy (Kathy) Thompson, Vicki (Ken) Ewald; his significant other, Deanna Merchant; his dog, Ted D. Bear; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Thompson.

 Memorial service held 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family.
