ELDONNA PARSELL
ElDonna Parsell, 76, of Berkeley Springs, WV, formerly of Kingston, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 in Berkeley Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Berkeley Springs, WV. She was born November 29, 1929 in Pigeon to Wesley and Emma (Stanley) Weidman. She married Harold Merrl Parsell August 28, 1953 in Elkton, MI. He died March 6, 1995.
ElDonna worked for many years for Dibbles Dime Stores, Midwest Rotary and drove school bus for Kingston Community Schools. ElDonnas main life work was milking cows on her farm. She loved children and showed that in the many children she took in her home, the many children she encouraged to farm, by being a 4H Leader, a Sunday School Teacher and a Missionary Cadet Leader through Caro Free Methodist Church and Lamotte Missionary Church. ElDonna was a good cook and was well known for her fruit cake and fudge.
ElDonna is survived by her children: Donald (Wilma) Parsell of Berkeley Springs, WV and Marilyn (George) Cox of Caro; grandchildren: Codi (Dustin) Ford, Kaleb Parsell, Issac Parsell, Aaron (Tiffany) Parsell, Eli Parsell, Gordon Cox, Miranda (Robert) McMaster, MaDonna Cox; great grandchildren: Lyric, Haley, Serenity, Destiny, Mindy, Madilin, Robert Jr. (JJ); brother, Alvin (Sally) Weidman of Whitmore Lake; sisters: Viola Borkholder of Saginaw, Eileen Herman of Elkton, Ruth (Lloyd) Wolfe of Florida, Betty Parsell of Pigeon; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Elory Gilmore and Pastor Gary Butterfield of Lamotte Missionary Church officiating. Memorials may be made to Brown City Missionary Camp. Interment will be in Peck Memorial Gardens, Peck, MI. Pallbearers for Mrs. Parsell are: Kaleb Parsell, Issac Parsell, Aaron Parsell, Eli Parsell, Robert McMaster and Nathan Miles.
