HELEN PALADI
Helen Paladi, 94, of Cass City, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facilityl. She was born October 8, 1912 in Feketeardö, Hungary to Joseph and Ethel (Risko) Kondor. She married Alex Paladi Sr. January 13, 1938 in Bowling Green, OH. He died March 2, 1989.
Helen came to the United States in 1932, living in Bronx, New York. She was a waitress at Del Ray restaurant. She was a great cook and baker, specializing in old fashion Hungarian cooking. Helen was a member of Cass City First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting and working with her african violets.
Helen is survived by her sons: Alex Paladi of Deford, Ed (Cheryl) Paladi of Cass City; granddaughter, Debra Ann Paladi; great granddaughter, Chelsea Paladi.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. Elsa Pressentin of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bad Axe, officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Episcopal Church, Sandusky. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Gagetown.
