THERESE ROSE OSENTOSKI
Therese R. Osentoski, 76, of Ubly, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 in her home with her family by her side. She was born March 24, 1928 in Argyle to George and Valerie (Cregeur) Langenburg. She married Marshall Osentoski September 13, 1952 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle.
Therese was an avid gardener, seamstress, candle maker and baker. She was a great cook. There was nothing she couldn’t do. She is a former President of Christian Mothers. Therese was an active member of St. John the Evangelist, Ubly, a former Daughter of Isabella and taught catechism for years. She worked in the greenhouse/florist business. She lived in Farmington Hills for 35 years.
Therese is survived by her husband, Marshall; children: Paul (Marianne) Osentoski of Hillsdale, Pete (Sheryl) Osentoski of Murray, NB, John (Lorrie) Osentoski of Livonia, George (Carol) Osentoski of Tucker, GA, Ann (Tom) Conley of Deford; grandchildren: Sarah, Joseph, Emma, Marshall, Toni Osentoski, Lisa (John) Nielson, Kelli, Kyle, Olivia, Sally, Anthony Osentoski, Marshall Conley, Grace Conley, Sharon Polman, Terri Pippin, Gary Pippin; great grandchildren: Lauren, Heather, Jesseca, and Travis; brothers: William Langenburg, Leigh Langenburg; sisters-in-law: Rita Langenburg, Doreena Langenburg and Jeanette Langenburg; nieces Therese was raised with: Beatrice Flannery and Pauline Polega; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald; brothers: Joe, Floyd, Dick, Francis, Charles, and Louis Langenburg; sisters: Joanna McLaughlin, Valerie Franzel.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ubly with Rev. Randy Kelly of Maple Grove St. Michael Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Ubly. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
