STANLEY MICHAEL OSENTOSKI
Stanley M. Osentoski, 90, of Harbor Beach, died Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Courtney Manor, Bad Axe. He was born June 27, 1917 in Tyre to Edward and Stancy (Nichlas) Osentoski. He married Irene Wasserman June 24, 1944 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City. She died October 16, 1999.
Stanley worked as a Machine Operator for Gimmer Steering Gear in Detroit and Automated Screw in Ferndale. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Warren. Stanley enjoyed fishing, gardening, smoking cigars and loved his Chow dog CoCo.
Stanley is survived by his children: Betty Ann (Ken) Evans of Sterling Heights, Lawrence E. Osentoski of Harbor Beach, Stanley M. (Linda) Osentoski Jr. of Warren; grandchildren: Ken E. (Tina) Evans Jr., Kerrie (Rich) Poelo, Lawrence E. (Therese) Osentoski Jr., Stanley (Cheryl) Osentoski III, Sheri (Ed) Takacs; great grandchildren: Madison, Ashley, Jacob, Hannah, Nicholas, Alyssa, Eric, Brendan, Ryan, Abigail, Danielle, Bryan; half brother, Alger �"Pat” Osentoski of Cass City; several nieces and nephews. Stanley is preceded in death by his brothers: Alfred Osentoski and Sylvester Osentoski; sister, Leona Wahowski.
Funeral service held 11:15 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen J. Fillion, officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
