ALGER "PAT" EDWARD OSENTOSKI,
78, of Cass City passed away February 8th, 2015 in his niece's home in East Pointe. He was born on May 8, 1936 in Ubly, Austin Township to Edward and Tresa (Polach) Osentoski. He was married to Carole Johnson.
Pat worked as a Manager for Greendale Screw Products in Detroit for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Cass City. Pat was well known for his green thumb and since he was a young man he grew a large garden. Pat enjoyed deer hunting, repairing lawn mowers and snow blowers and loved traveling and cruising around the globe.
Pat is survived by his children: Steven Osentoski of Utica, Daniel Osentoski of Emmett, A. Gary and wife Temmy Osentoski of Tustin, CA, and Corey Osentoski of Shelby Township; grandchildren: Justin (wife Christine), Danielle, Nathan, Derrick, Steven and Devon; several nephews and nieces; sister-in-law, Marie Osentoski of Cass City; special friend of over ten years, Helen Clor of Ubly. Pat joined our Creator with his parents and siblings: Ira and Bernice; and half-brothers: Stanley, Alfred and Sylvester Osentoski and half-sister, Leona Wahowski.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City with Rev. Christian Tabares officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in St. John Cemetery, Ubly. Pallbearers for Mr. Osentoski: Justin Osentoski, Nathan Osentoski, Steven Osentoski, Derrick Osentoski, Devon Osentoski, and Ken Osentoski.
