GENEVIEVE ELIZABETH OBEE
Genevieve E. Obee, 89, of Minden City, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Marlette Community Hospital after a long illness. She was born November 4, 1916 in Flint to John and Lydia (Holler) Manke. She married Walter Obee June 27, 1957 in Alpena. He died November 18, 1994.
Genevieve worked for Chrysler Corporation for over 20 years as a Quality Inspector. She enjoyed crocheting and loved Bingo.
Genevieve is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Stanley) Reese of Deckerville; grandchildren Debra (Asa) Burns, Nadine Hayes, David Hayes, JoAnn Wilson, Michelle Emery; great grandchildren Dave Hayes, Tammy Hayes, Shane Hayes, and Shawn Wilson. She is preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be held in the spring at her graveside in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City with Debra L. Kranz, Funeral Service Celebrant, officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
