Robert L. Neiman, 88, of Cass City, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 in his daughter’s home in Cass City. He was born September 2, 1914 in Bay City to John and Minnie (Hendrick) Neiman.
Robert farmed most of his life. He retired from General Motors as a millwright and also worked many years in a sugar beet factory.
Robert is survived by his children: Richard Neiman of San Diego, CA, Lila (Luis) Arroyo of Cass City, Elvin (Carol) Neiman of Sacramento, CA, Marion (Mack) Hyatt of Ortonville, Robert Neiman of Walled Lake, Minnie Ilene (Gilbert) Radick of Vassar, James Neiman of Denver, CO; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren: special companion, Lois Stover of Caro. He is preceded in death by his baby daughter, Della Jean and his brothers, Albert Neiman and Egbert Chase.
Funeral services held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2002 at Kranz Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald E. Comfort of Ellington Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the United Hospice of Marlette.
Visitation: 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday
