Edna P. Moore, 92, of Kingston died following a short illness Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born October 8, 1920 in Greenleaf Township, Sanilac County to Rev. Walter and Flora (Endersbe) Hubbard. She married Raymond Moore June 16, 1944 in her father's church in Kingston. He died July 21, 2012.
Edna graduated from Reed City High School. She was a very active member of Kingston Wesleyan Church serving as a Sunday School teacher, youth director and music director for many years. She was also involved in the Women's Missionary Society.
Edna is survived by her sons: Robert (Helen) Moore of Jackson, Wayne (Janet) Moore of Kingston,; grandchildren: Kimberly (Ray) Bruton, Jennifer (Jay) Horsfall, Ron (Tara Chorba) Moore, Don (Teri) Moore, Angela (David) Hernandez; great grandchildren: Raygan, Rylie, Darby, Zeke, Chloe, Darian, Lincoln, Taylor, Colton, Taylor; brother, Wesley (Roxie) Hubbard of Portage; sister, Geneva (Joe) MacIntyre of Bakersfield, CA; sister-in-law, Pauline Hubbard of Lodi, CA; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth McCool Calhoun; brother, Walter Hubbard.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Kingston Wesleyan Church with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating. Interment is in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Moore: Ron Moore, Don Moore, Jay Horsfall, Ray Bruton, Raygan Bruton, Jason McCool. Memorials may be made to Kingston Wesleyan Church or Forget-Me-Nots.
