SANDRA DIANNE MOERY
Sandra D. Moery, 57, of Caro, died Sunday morning, July 10, 2005 in her home with her family at her side. She was born January 19, 1948 in Detroit to Harold and Lois (Heiss) Wood I. She married Marvin G. Moery October 15, 1968 in Detroit.
Sandra attended Delta College. She worked caring for mentally disabled people in many group home and for the last seven years as a Nurses Aid at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility in Lapeer. She was very creative and enjoyed many different types of craft projects. Sandra used her talents to make her home comfortable and to make the lives of those she cared for more enjoyable. Her grandchildren were very important to her. Even in the worst times of her illness, when the grandchildren walked in the room, she lit up and once again became �"Grandma”.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Marvin; children: Angela Moery of Waterford, Michael Moery of Muskegon, Alysia (Doug) White of Caro, Anita (Christopher) McEwan of Imlay City; grandchildren: Matthew Moery, Kristin Hill, Lauren White, Makayla White, Michael T. Moery, Michael McEwan, Garrett McEwan, Elizabeth McEwan; brother, Harold Wood II of Detroit, brother-in-law, Gary (Lucy) Moery; niece, Samantha Moery. She is preceded in death by her infant sister, Nancy Wood and her brother, Gordon Wood, who died in 1996.
Funeral service held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005, in Kranz Funeral Home Kingston with Chaplain Elwyn Hazen of Tuscola and Lapeer Counties officiating. Interment will be in East Dayton Cemetery, Caro. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
