Agnes Milligan

Agnes Milligan, 93, of Cass City, died Saturday, November 23, 2002 in Huron County Medical Care Facility. She was born August 4, 1909 in Cass City to Robert and Margaret (Gracie) Milligan.

Agnes graduated from business school in Saginaw and worked at Kenney’s Creamer, Townsend’s Dime Store, and Erla’s. She was a member of Hills and Dales Hospital Auxiliary and Cass City First Presbyterian Church and Women’s Association. Agnes was Treasurer for the church for many years and also an Elder. She was a member of the Cass City BPW and Zonta. She enjoyed travelling, especially in England and Scotland, and also playing cards.

Agnes is survived by her nieces and nephews: Hugh (Geraldine) Milligan of Caro, Heather (Ron) Healy of Beverly Hills, MI, Alan (Kathleen) Milligan of Cass City, Shirley (Carl) McIntosh of Williamston, James (Judy) Brown of Cass City; 9 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great nephew. She is preceded in death by siblings, James Milligan, Alison Brown; sister-in-law, Blanche Milligan; brother-in-law, Grant Brown; great nephew, Kirk Milligan.

Funeral services held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Cass City First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mark Morningstar of Sandusky Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City, MI. Memorials may be made to Cass City First Presbyterian Church or the Rawson Memorial Library. Pallbearers for Agnes: Jim Brown, Al Milligan, Hugh Milligan, Carl McIntosh, Ron Healy, and Dave Milligan.

Visitation: 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, November 25 , 2002
