LAURAL ANN MILLER
Laural A. Miller, 68, of Kingston, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 20, 2008 following a brief illness. She will be sadly missed. She was born October 7, 1939 in Cass City to Alton and Delilah (Warner) Caverly. She married Robert L. Miller August 18, 1962 in Kingston.
Laural graduated from Kingston High School in 1957. She was a lifelong resident of Kingston. Laural worked for Kingston Community Schools as a custodian retiring in 1995 after over 20 years. She was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church, the Kingston AMVETS Auxiliary Post #1072 and was past president of the Cass City VFW Auxiliary Post #3644. Some of Laural’s favorite pastimes were playing BINGO, watching Pistons basketball, crocheting, maintaining her flower gardens and spending winters in the south. Laural loved collecting frog figurines and her favorite color was purple.
Laural is survived by her husband, Robert; children: William Miller of Kingston, Irene (Thomas) Holtslander of Petersburg, AK, Bobbi (Mark) Osantowski of Ubly, Shirley Yax of Cass City, Amy (Scott) Fetting of Kingston, Martin (Amanda) Miller of Kingston; grandchildren: Stephanie, Dawn, Holly, Tracy, Tommy, Jamie, Brennen, Samantha, Kayla, Jordan, Dalton, Ashton, Lucas, Tayler and Cameron; great-grandchildren: Wally, Jaelynn and Hayden; sisters: Dorothy (Elroy) Gilmore, Bonnie (Charles) Cummings, Linda (Jimmy) Harris; brothers: Jay (Mabel) Caverly, Casper (Kay) Caverly, Raymond (Carol) Caverly; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Eugene Cummings; infant sister, Jeannie Sue Caverly; in-laws, Harry and Amber Miller; brother-in-law, Donald Miller.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 in Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Miller: Darren Cummings, Troy Caverly, Jimmy Harris, Calvin Caverly, Brennen Osantowski, Corey Clauss.
