ELEANOR MARIE MILLER,
95, of Cass City, died Friday, September 24, 2010 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born January 29, 1915 at home in Paris Township, Huron County to Carl Christian and Clara Carolyne (Emling) Binder. She married Clarence Miller November 24, 1936 in Detroit. He died June 25, 2006.
Eleanor was a charter member and very devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and their altar guild. She worked for several years part-time for Kritzman’s Clothing Store in Cass City. Eleanor enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, reading and working crossword puzzles.
Eleanor is survived by her children: JoAnne (Charles) O’Dell of Caseville, Gary (Mary) Miller of Grand Rapids; grandchildren: Kimberly (Greg) Frank, Ronald (Donna) O’Dell, Robert (Shari) O’Dell, Kristine (Anthony) Adams, Alexis (Sam) Sherman, Carissa (Emanuel) Henriksson; great grandchildren: Nathan (Sarah) Hendrick, Elissa, David, Megan, Mitchel, Michael, Alexander, Jaidan, Finley, Grant (Sally) Frank, Cassady, Zechariah; great great grandchildren, Kellan, James, Elizabeth, Gavin; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Smith; brothers: Aaron Binder, Earl Binder, Carl Binder Jr..
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Randall Russell officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearer for Mrs. Miller: Ronald O’Dell, Robert O’Dell, Greg Frank, Anthony Adams, Nathan Hendrick and Sam Sherman. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
