CLARENCE MILLER
Clarence Miller, 98, of Cass City, died, following a long illness, Sunday, June 25, 2006 in his home with his family at his side. He was born September 12, 1907 in Verona Township to Lester and Minnie (Parney) Miller. He married Eleanor M. Binder November 24, 1936 in Detroit.
Clarence worked for General Telephone as a lineman, retiring in 1972 after over 26 years. He was a member of Masonic Tyler Lodge No. 317. Clarence was an avid beekeeper and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children: Joanne M. (Charles C.) O’Dell of Caseville, Gary W. (Mary) Miller of Grand Rapids; grandchildren: Kimberly (Greg) Frank of Cass City, Ronald (Donna) O’Dell of Monroe, Robert (Shari) O’Dell of Cass City, Kristine (Anthony) Adams of Cass City, Alexis (Sam) Sherman of Grand Rapids, Carissa Miller of Australia; great grandchildren: Nathan Hendrick, Elissa Hendrick, David Bratton, Megen O’Dell, Mitchell O’Dell, Michael Adams, Alexander Adams, Jaidan Sherman, Finley Sherman; great great grandson, Kellan Lavine; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Lester, Roy, and Irven Miller; sister, Myrtle Ludlow; sister-in-law, Ann Miller.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Worshipful Master Carl Palmateer, of Tyler Lodge No. 317, officiating. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Miller: Ronald O’Dell, Robert O’Dell, Nathan Hendrick, Tony Adams, Greg Frank, Sam Sherman.
