JOHN RAYMOND MICHALSKI
John R. Michalski, 61, of Deford, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at home with his family at his side. He was born December 2, 1944 at home in Ubly to Raymond and Ordean (Lautner) Michalski. He married Margaret Jean Rolston February 29, 1964 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Argyle. She died November 25, 1999.
John worked for General Motors in Saginaw for over 33 years. He enjoyed rebuilding and fixing trucks, pheasant hunting, truck pulls and golf.
John is survived by his children: Greg (Kim) Michalski of Deford, James (Lori) Michalski of Caro, Jeffrey (Teresa) Michalski of Webberville, Kathrine (Jim) Schram of Caro; grandchildren: Micheal, Aaron, Brian, Elizabeth, Katie, Erik, Adam, Jeffrey Michalski, Jr., Austin Schram and the tenth grandchild due in December; special friend and her family, Betty McKenney of Kingston; mother, Ordean Michalski of Ubly; brother, David (Gloria) Michalski of Ubly; sister, Clarice (Kevin) Robinson of Ubly; several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; infant sister, Annette.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette. Interment will take place in Novesta Township Cemetery.
