DENNIS LEE MEYER
Dennis L. Meyer, 63, of North Branch died following a short illness Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center. He was born November 16, 1954 in Detroit to Harold and Mary E. (Dole) Meyer.
Dennis graduated from Kingston High School with the class of 1972. He attended Saginaw Valley State University studying Business. He worked for Albar Industries in Lapeer. Dennis served as the Union Representative for Teamsters Local 614 for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and deer hunting. Dennis and Linda attended car shows showing his old Gran Torino.
Dennis is survived by his children: Kimberly Hoseclaw of Kingston; Jeremy (Kirsten) Meyer of Akron, Kristin Meyer of Akron; special friend, Linda Akers of North Branch; grandchildren: Joshua, Luke, and Taylor; brother, John (Connie) Meyer of Ubly and his Shih Tzu, Pooh. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Meyer; half-brother, Michael Meyer.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Kingston Wesleyan Church with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
