Louis W. Mecho, 76, of Applegate, formerly of Shabbona, died Thursday, August 21, 2003 in Aleda E. Lutz Veteran Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born October 24, 1926 in Detroit to Lewis David and Emma (Comiskey) Mecho.
Louis served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII and worked as a painter before retirement.
Louis is survived by his children: Diane Mecho of Applegate and Charles (Rosemoon) Mecho of Hot Springs, NC. He is preceded in death by his son, Rodney Mecho.
Cremation has taken place with private family services at a later date.
