MYRTLE B. McCOLL
Myrtle B. McColl, 99, of Cass City, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City after a long illness. She was born July 9, 1907 at home in Greenleaf Township to Edward and Susan (Ballagh) Wright. She married Charles Cutler in 1929. Myrtle later married Hugh McColl March 3, 1951 at home in Cass City. He died September 19, 1957.
Myrtle was a member of Cass City First Baptist Church where, at one time, she taught Sunday school. She loved to cook and bake. Myrtle enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning.
Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Frent of Akron; grandchildren: Sherry (Gary) Wardynski, Mary Cutler, Melissa (Stan) Phillips, Edward Cutler, John Cutler, James Cutler; great grandchildren: Kevin Wardynski, Daven (Jennifer) Wardynski, Jason Wardynski, Marty (Colleen) Frent, Jeff (Tracy) Frent, Roberta (Bill) Pappenhagen, Daniel Odle, James Odle, Lori Beth Odle, Bradley Cutler, Christina Phillips, and Jason Phillips; 10 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sons: Edward Cutler and James Cutler; grandson, James Frent; brothers: Alvin Wright, Orrin Wright, Curtis Wright; sisters: Olive Jaus, Mae Nicol, Bertha Wright, Helen Baker, Verna McDermaid.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2006, in Cass City First Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Holmgren officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Cass City First Baptist Church. Pallbearers for Mrs. McColl are her great grandchildren.
