ELAINE MARGARET MARTIN,
75, of Sebewaing, formerly of Cass City, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the care of hospice in her son’s home with her family by her side. She was born May 2, 1935 at home in Sebewaing to Paul and Bertha (Bergman) Loeffler.
Elaine was a caregiver. She enjoyed her relationship with Christ. Elaine enjoyed flowers, working outside and traveling. She loved her family.
Elaine is survived by her children: Karen Hutchinson of Sebewaing, Mark (Betsy) Martin, Dave (Cyndi) Martin, Jeff Martin, Peter Martin and friend Gaydon all of Cass City; grandchildren: Marshall (Jacki) Venema, Clayton Venema, Eric (Diannah) Martin, Jordan Venema and friend Donis, Brent Martin, Jennifer (Kenny) Spencer, Janelle (Gary) Grates, Amy Martin, Tyler Venema, Paul Martin, Annette Newsham and Justin Sturm; great grandchildren: Zane, Trenton, Madison, Aubree, Logan, MacKenzie, Asher, Madalynn, Lillyann, Hailey, Madysen, Emma; brother, Don (Vernita) Loeffler of Sebewaing; sister, Janise (Dennis) Pardeik of Flushing; special friend, Don Worm of Sebewaing.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Chris Hooton of Sebewaing Assembly of God and Brother Jack Nesbitt officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Martin: Marshall Venema, Tyler Venema, Clayton Venema, Jordan Venema, Paul Martin, Kenny Spencer, Gary Grates.
