THEODORE ‘TED’ NORMAN MARSHALL,
74, of Caro, died after a lengthy illness, Thursday, March 17, 2020 in his home. He was born April 14, 1945 in Wayne, MI the second of four children born to Ted Roy and Eleanor Mary (Neff) Marshall. He married Victoria Irene Kerns in Detroit. She died June 6, 2006.
Ted graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1963. He worked in Cass City for General Cable then joined the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam for 19 months, working as a wireman and as a radio operator. After his military service Ted worked for Ford Motor Company on the assembly line, as a manager of a farm, and for a contractor as a plumbing repairman. In the past Ted especially enjoyed helping family and friends and occasional casino visits. Ted cherished time with Vickie, the love of his life.
Ted is survived by his son, Robert (Cherie) Marshall of Taylor; grandchildren: Justin, Briana, Alexander, Nicholas, Ryan and Isabella; great grandchildren: Rose, Eloise and the third, Beau, on the way; brother, David (Ruth Ann) Marshall of Cass City; step-mother, Evelyn Marshall of Seal Beach, CA; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Marshall; mother: Eleanor Hotchkis, brother, James Marshall; sister, Judith Ann Marshall.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
