Casimer Lubaczewski, Sr

Casimer Lubaczewski, Sr. 94, of Cass City, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. He was born March 4, 1914 in Detroit to Frank and Martha (Teodorski) Lubaczewski. He married Sophie Dlugosielski September 5, 1941 in Detroit, she died January 22, 1980.

Casimer farmed his whole life. Casimer was a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church and the Polish American Club. He was also a member of Golden Years Club. Casimer loved playing cards and dancing.

Casimer is survived by his children: Casimer (Shirley) Lubaczewski, Jr. of Caro, Leonard Lubaczewski of Caro, Joan (Jack) Hercliff of Cass City; grandchildren: Christina (Steve) Robak, Tanya (Ty) Clark, Scott Lubaczewski, Andre Lubaczewski, Todd (Jade Sieh) Lubaczewski, Carrie (Ted) Homewood, Kevin Hercliff, Wendy Hercliff; great grandchildren: Lauren, Alexa, Nicholas, Noah, Quinn, Zachary, Jodee, Jay, Lila, Owen; brother, Ladislaus Sylvester (Sylvia) Lubaczewski of Sun City, AZ; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Walter Lubaczewski and Theodore Lubaczewski.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen J. Fillion officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
