KEITH J. LOWE,
92, of Deford died Friday, May 10, 2019 in Hills and Dales General Hospital, Cass City. He was born January 16, 1927 at home in Snover, the second of nine children born to James and Norma (McAllister) Lowe. He married Mary Ann Anthes on March 20, 1954 in Cass City Methodist Church.
Keith attended Starr Country School and went straight to work hauling milk. He worked for several companies over the years including: Croft-Clara Lumberyard, Farm Produce Elevator and Cass City Oil and Gas. Keith always kept busy and enjoyed many walks with his dog, Beau. He and Mary Ann wintered in Lakeland, FL for twenty-seven years. Keith enjoyed playing golf and working in his yard and garden. He loved traveling with his Canadian friends all throughout Michigan.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children: Richard (Daria) Lowe of Raleigh, NC; Mike (Diane) Lowe of Deford; Diane (Richard) Spooner of Rives Junction; brother, Dale Lowe of Snover; sisters: Georgene (Clare) Brown of Ubly; Linda (Elwyn) Helwig of Cass City; granddaughters: Becky (Nick) Schmidt, Kathy (David) Gilman, Michelle Spooner, Julia Lowe; great-grandchildren: Eric Brott, Allie Brott, Kelsey Brott, Aubrey Gilman; sisters-in-law: Anna Lowe of Shields; Arlene Lowe of Caro; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his infant son, William Lowe; grandson, Robert Lowe; brothers: Orwood Lowe, Jerry Lowe, Dean Lowe, Robert (Wenola) Lowe; sister: Elaine (Russell) Hillaker.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Novesta Church of Christ, Cass City with Brad Speirs officiating. Interment is in Novesta Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Lowe will be: Ed Lowe, Ken Lowe, Al Lowe, Gary Lowe, Jim Hillaker, Jack Hillaker, Bill Brown and Craig Helwig. Memorials may be made to Novesta Church of Christ.
