Roger L. Little, 74, of St. Peters, Missouri, formerly of Cass City, died September 21, 2007.
He was born June 4, 1933 in Detroit, the son of the Harry and Edith (Macauley) Little.
Mr. Little attended Alma College and earned a degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University. He later purchased Littles Funeral Home from his father, operating it until his retirement in 1994 when he moved to St. Charles, Missouri. Roger served with the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cass City serving as an elder for many years. Roger was a past president of the Cass City Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed singing with the Tom Thumb Singers. Roger was a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association, a founding member and board member of the Thumb Funeral Directors Association. He was a past president of the Cass City Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Roger had been a member of the Kiwanis Club of St. Charles and American Legion Post #312, St. Charles. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was an Honor Soldier of the Honor Guard.
Mr. Little is survived by his wife Beverly; three sons: Michael Little of Cass City, Mark Little of Bel Aire and Donald Galbraith of Foristell, Missouri; one daughter: Mrs. Janet (Dennis) Pierce of O'Fallon, Missouri, seven grandchildren and one brother, Richard Little of Cass City. One son, Eric, preceded him in death.
Service for Mr. Little will be Monday, September 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Baue Funeral and Memorial Chapel, 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles, MO 63301, 636-946-7811. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday before the service. Interment will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
