ANNA SUSAN LEWICKI,
93, of Kingston, died following a lengthy illness Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born November 14, 1925 at home in Hemans to John and Sophia Ann (Szczepanski) Buniack. She married Bill Stanley Kupiec June 24, 1944 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot. He died August 26, 1953. Anna married Edward Lewicki September 28, 1957 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot. He died July 13, 2014.
Anna was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church from the time she was 15 years old. She was a longtime member of the Altar Society holding all offices except President. Anna worked the church bazaars, bake sales, helped with funeral dinners and many other church activities. Anna was a fulltime Mom and homemaker. Over the years Anna worked part time at Burns IGA in Kingston as a clerk, in the produce department and meat department. She continued to work there after the store became Zorn, working a total of over 20 years. She also worked at the Kingston Tavern and for Driscols serving dinner on Friday nights. Anna enjoyed working in her flower gardens.
Anna is survived by her children: Patricia Tomaszewski of Caro, William Kupiec of Kingston, Marjorie Biebel of Caro, David (Gail) Lewicki of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel (Araceli) Lewicki of Rockford, Thomas (Deborah) Lewicki of Rockford; daughter-in-law, Wendy Lewicki of Charleston, WV; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Carl (Evelyn) Buniack of Snover; half sister, Marie (Rob) Thompson of Goetzville; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son, Ronald Lewicki; brothers: John A. Buniack, George Buniack; sister, Frances Klotkowski and two infant brothers, Steven and Frank; son-in-law, Larry Tomaszewski, Sr.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 in St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Caro with Rev. Jerzy Dobosz officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wilmot. Pallbearers for Mrs. Lewicki: Jeremy Lewicki, Andrew Lewicki, David Lewicki, Daniel Lewicki, Thomas Lewicki and Jason Lewicki.
