LEONA RHEA KELLER 

Leona R. Keller, 82, of Cass City, died Thursday, February 13, 2025 in Covenant Healthcare, Saginaw. She was born May 5, 1942 in Simco, Ontario to Marcel John and Bernice (Cooper) LeSage. 

 Leona attended high school and a business school in Delhi, Ontario. In February of 1963, she became a resident of the United States. In her younger years, she loved to dance, especially at weddings and parties. Leona enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO. She was skilled at knitting and made many afghans and dish clothes for family and friends. Leona anxiously waited for birds to appear outside her window at the bird feeder. An avid NASCAR fan, Dale Earnhardt and Martin Truex, Jr. were her favorite drivers.

 Leona is survived by her son, Karl Keller of Nashville, GA; daughter, Annette (Harvey) Bell of Deford; grandchildren: Autumn Helland, Marcel Helland, Scarlett Helland, Kristen Keller, Kyle Keller; great grandchildren: Hunter Davis, Avalon Davis, Michael Valdez, Isaac Valdez; brother, John (Betty) LeSage of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; several nieces, nephews; and her cat, Emmie. She is preceded in death by her son, Marcel Keller; daughter-in-law, Robin Keller. 

 Memorial service held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Chuck Carr officiating. Memorials may be made to her family (care of Annette Bell) for their discretion.
