FRED J. LEESON
Fred J. Leeson, 65, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, FL following a short illness. He was born August 5, 1941 in Cass City to Russel and Mary (Mark) Leeson. He married Linda W. Hulien February 6, 1965 in Cass City United Methodist Church. She died January 8, 2002. Fred later married Michelle Zdrojewski December 10, 2005.
Fred graduated from Cass City High School in 1959 during which he was awarded the Paul Smarks award for Athletics. He received his Bachelors degree from Michigan State University. Fred worked for Delphi in Saginaw as a Production Control and Logistics Manager retiring after many years of service. He loved life and enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends.
Fred is survived by his wife, Michelle; son, F. Joe (Jill) Leeson, Jr. of Cass City; grandchildren: Stephanie Leeson, Fred Leeson III; sister, Charlene (Dan) Sutherland of Almont; many nieces and nephews; Michelles family: children: Jon (Deidra) Zdrojewski of Cass City, Dana (Marty) Cooley of Roseville, Douglas (Shannon) Zdrojewski of Muskegon; grandchildren: Brandon Vargo, Lauren and Erin Zdrojewski, Samantha and Elizabeth Cooley, Dylan and Rachel Zdrojewski; mother, Germaine Thompson of Minden City.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Cass City United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Donelson officiating. Memorials may be made to Gavel Club, Rawson Memorial Library, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
