HENRY JOHN LEBIODA


Henry J. Lebioda, 83, of Deford, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center, Marlette. He was born August 9, 1925 in Hamtramck to John and Theresa (Snaider) Lebioda. Mr. Lebioda never married.


Henry worked for Grand Trunk Railroad for a few years. He worked for Pontiac Motors as an Inspector retiring after 30 years. Henry enjoyed traveling and had visited almost all 50 states including two visits to Alaska. He enjoyed fishing and garage sales. Henry collected many novelty items.


Henry is survived by his sister, Helen Giordano of Romeo; sister-in-law, Wanda (James) Lebioda-Klauka of Cass City; nieces and nephews: Judy (Dave) Ware, Beth (Dan) Mellendorf, Lynda (Dale) McIntosh, Diane (John) Austin, Dan Giordano, Henry Lebioda; many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Edward Lebioda and Richard Lebioda.


Graveside service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at his graveside in Novesta Township Cemetery with Brad Speirs, Novesta Church of Christ Youth Minister officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center.
