MARGARET L. LAW
Margaret L. Law, 89, of Cass City, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born November 9, 1916 at home in Sanilac County to William and Gertrude (Elliott) Merchant. She married Clinton L. Law October 16, 1937 in Cass City. He died September 3, 2000.
Margaret and Clinton owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Margaret helped with 4H while her children participated. She was a member of Cass City First Presbyterian Church for many years. Margaret owned a floral shop in Cass City for several years. She loved flowers especially roses and snapdragons. She loved her little dogs.
Margaret is survived by her children: Sherry (Wayne) Dillon of Cass City, Delbert (Shirley) Law of Whitmore Lake; grandchildren: Jeff (Julee) Dillon, Scott (Suzanna) Dillon, Elizabeth (Jim) Luke; great grandchildren: Jaydee Dillon, Drew Dillon, Regan Dillon; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Merchant, Frank Merchant, Clarence Merchant; sisters: infant Jessie Merchant, Flossie Mitchell, Hazel Martin.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home with Rev. David Blackburn of Cass City First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Heartland Hospice or First Presbyterian Woman’s Association.
