David Joseph Lansu, 57, of Garden City and Kingston, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his Kingston home. He was born August 11, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Harry and Betty (Beauchamp) Lansu. He married Jennifer Smith April 14, 2000 in Garden City, Michigan.
David loved doing anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed people and his family, especially his children and grandchildren. During his working years he did construction work installing fences. David lived the winter months in his Garden City home and spent the summertime at his place in Kingston.
David is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children: Danielle Lansu, David Lansu, and Dina Lansu all of Garden City; grandchildren: Kaira Smith, Makayla Smith, and Shaniyah Moore; sister, Linda (Dan) VanVoorhis of Canton; brother Harry Lansu Jr., of Westland. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife Donna (Farrow) Lansu.
