Mary E. Kotsch, 98, of Kingston, died Monday, March 15, 2010 in her home with her family by her side. She was born July 1, 1911 in Washington, Pennsylvania to John and Mary (Kazemer) Kapral. She married Charles Kotsch September 5, 1931 in Detroit. He died June 12, 1984.
Mary was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Alter Society and a former member of the Eagles Fraternity. Mary enjoyed gardening.
Mary is survived by her son, Richard Kotsch of Indian, Alaska; daughter-in-law, Judy Kotsch of Kingston; grandchildren: Charles N. Kotsch, Kristine Megge, Kenneth Kotsch, Jason Mayor; several great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Kapral; sisters: Helen Gerner, Margaret Wenta, Lee Wolak, Irene Wettlaufer, JoAnne (George) Klemkowski; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Charles S. Kotsch; daughter, Frances Mayor; son-in-law, Anthony Mayor; sisters: Susan Newmarch, Sophie Cook, Rose Ober, Jeannie Moskal.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Wilmot, with Rev. Andrzej Boroch and Sr. Riccardina Silvestri officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
