JUDITH ANN KOTSCH,
71, of Kingston, died Friday, November 8, 2013 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center surrounded in love by her children. She was born June 28, 1942 in Detroit the only child of Norman E. and Voletta E.A.E. (Olson) Thaens. She married Charles S. Kotsch July 27, 1966 in Detroit. He died May 26, 1998.
Judy attended Detroit Business School. After their children were born, Chuck and Judy moved their family to the Kingston area. Judy was a very giving, caring person. She was a wonderful Mom and caregiver not only for her own children and grandchildren but for neighbors and their children. Judy enjoyed being outside working in her yard and garden tending her flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed many different crafts including crocheting. Judy had a great sense of humor and didn't miss an opportunity to make a joke.
Judy is survived by her children: Charles N. (Victoria Parker) Kotsch of Kingston, Kristine (Gary) Megge of Grand Ledge, Kenneth (Amy) Kotsch of Kingston; grandchildren: Nathan and Alex. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Debra L. Kranz, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Wilmot. Pallbearers for Ms. Kotsch: Erv Gilley, Dan Pohlod, Dan Syms, Jim Olson, Joe Galgoci, and Ray Wolak.
