Jessy L. Kornelson, 27, of Deford, died unexpectedly Friday, February 17, 2006 in Memorial Herman Hospital, Houston, TX. He was born February 27, 1978 in Wyandotte, MI to Leonard and Deborah (Lizotte) Kornelson.
Jessy graduated from Cass City High School. He loved sports of all kinds and had a great memory when it came to sports. In high school, Jessy played soccer and baseball. He enjoyed everything from horseshoes to badminton to ping pong and was a golf addict. Jessy also enjoyed fishing.
Jessy is survived by his mother, Deborah (Benny) Rhyndress of Deford; father, Leonard Kornelson of Arizona; brothers: Ryan (Kelly) Kornelson of Roseville, Benjamin Rhyndress of Deford; nephew, Brandon; nieces: Amanda and Kayla; grandparents: Louise Lizotte of St. Clair Shores, Carol Rhyndress of St. Helen, Leon Rhyndress of Prescott; great grandma, Nellie Kornelson of New Boston; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by an infant sister, Wendy Kornelson; grandparents: Thomas Lizotte, Patricia and Lowell Kornelson.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating.
