ARTHUR EDMOND KOPP,
66, of Deford, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009, following a long illness, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born October 12, 1942 in Hamtramck to Arthur and Frances (Stodulski) Kopp. He married Joan Cayan August 2, 1974 in Warren.
Arthur was a member of the Boilermakers Union. He worked for Vought Corporation and Remke building Armored Trucks. Arthur enjoyed traveling, fishing and joking with family and friends.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Joan; children Yvonne Kopp of Capac, Christopher Kopp of Cass City, Anthony Kopp of Cass City; step-children: Marie (Ken) Faiet of Sterling Heights, Franklin Schaudt of Taylor, Lori Petty of Clinton Township; 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Lawson and step-son, Donald Schaudt.
Prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City. Cremation will take place following the service. Because of Arthur’s love of animals, memorials may be made to Cass River Pet Friendz. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
