BETTY INEZ KOOP
73, of Cass City, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City after a long, hard battle. She was born January 16, 1936 in Baker County, Georgia to Charlie and Retha (Collins) Wade. She married Roy A. Koop December 10, 1964 in Pontiac.
Betty enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers, and watching hummingbirds and deer out her window. She kept a spotless house and was a great cook. Betty had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed people. She was a great Mom.
Betty is survived by her husband, Roy; children: Dennis (Terry) Powell of Caro, Betty (Michael) Novak of Caro, Pauline (John) Fitzpatrick of Cass City, Shelby (Michael) Peters of Cass City, Tommy Powell of Caro, Richard (Pamela) Powell of Caro; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; mother, Retha Hudson of Albany, Georgia; sisters: Charlie Mae (Danny) Smith of Albany, Georgia, Mary (Frank) Harbuck of Americus, Georgia; brother, Linwood “Bud” (Anne) Wade of Albany, Georgia; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father.
