KATHLEEN SYLVIA KING
Kathleen S. King, 88, of Gagetown, died Friday, December 17, 2004 in Caro Community Hospital. She was born February 15, 1916 in Porterwood, WV to Frederick and Ina (Poling) Haas. She married Claude Harry King September 20, 1936 in Flint. He died June 19, 1986.
Kathleen worked for many years at Erla’s Grocery Store at the meat counter. She worked for Anrod Screen Cylinder until her retirement. Kathleen supported the Gagetown Church of the Nazarene.
Kathleen is survived by her nephews and great nephews; dear friend, Nora McMillen of Gagetown. She is preceded in death by her brothers: George Haas and Fred Haas.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Donald Ault of Gagetown Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Gagetown. Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gagetown Church of the Nazarene or Gagetown United Methodist Church.
