STEVE NAOKI KINEL,
40, of Fairgrove, formerly of Kingston, died peacefully Monday, February 18, 2019 in Covenant Medical Center, Harrison Campus, Saginaw. He was born December 1, 1978 in Rochester the youngest of two children born to Richard Michael and Hiroko (Lee) Kinel.
Steve graduated from Highland Pines School in Caro. He was a loving, selfless young man. Steve was his Dad’s buddy. He enjoyed toys that make noise and watching his favorite movie, Back to the Future.
Steve is survived by his parents: Richard (Cindy) Kinel of Silverwood, Hiroko Lee of Imlay City; siblings: Lee (Sarah) Kinel of Kingston, Clayton (Danielle) Harrison of Deford; nephews: Riley and Austin; grandmother, Leona Maxson of Silverwood; aunts and uncles: Ray (Martha) Kinel of Tennessee, Ron (Sara) Kinel of Lapeer, Robert (Judy) Kinel of Shelby Township, Dan Maxson of Kingston, Bev (Jerry) Gilmore of Kingston. Those who will also remember Steve is his family at Circle Drive in Fairgrove. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Thaddeus and Irene Kinel, William Maxson.
Memorial service held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Kranz Funeral Home Kingston with Debra L. Kranz, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating.
