Christie T. Kile, 35, of Decker, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, in Brian’s House, Bay City following a short illness. She was born October 31, 1971 in Caro to Robert Allen and Carol Ann (Cheek) McIntosh. She married Tracy Matthew Kile July 28, 2007 in Snover.
Christie worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Wal-Mart in Caro for nine years. She enjoyed roller skating, camping and loved the holidays. Christie loved life and making her children and everyone around her happy. She enjoyed driving the kids to cheerleading and pom events, volleyball, football and basketball games. She was a very easy going, loving person.
Christie is survived by her husband, Tracy Kile; children: Heather Carter of Reese, Stacy Carter of Vassar, Shane Carter of Decker, Cari Losey of Vassar, Kelly Carter of Vassar, Marcus Carter Jr. of Vassar, Matthew Kile of Decker; father, Robert McIntosh; mother, Carol (Ed) Gonzales; Christie’s first grandchild is due any day and will be named, Keegan Porritt; step-grandchildren: Logan and Shaylee; mother and father-in-law, Rhonda and Dale Kaake of Cass City; grandfather, Louis Cheek; brothers: Robert (Julie) McIntosh of Akron, Troy McIntosh of Akron; sister, Tanya McIntosh of Reese; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dale (Cathy) Kaake of Decker; Tammy (Jim) Polega of Cass City, Amy (Ralph) Ames of Caro, Andrea (Dan) Proctor of Cass City; grandparents-in-law: Ron and Clara Vincent of Marlette. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Calvin and Phyllis McIntosh, Delores Cheek; grandparents-in-law: Willard and Ruth Kaake.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Judy Esckilson of the Cass City Church of the Nazarene officiating. Memorials may be made to Brian’s House, 3140 W. Campus Drive, Bay City, MI 48706. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Pallbearers for Mrs. Kile: Chuck Kaake, Dale Kaake, Jr., Lloyd Thomas, Ricky Bolton, Ralph Ames, Danny Proctor, Shane Carter and Matthew Kile.
