MARTHA KEYSER,
91, of Ubly, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in her daughter's home with her family by her side, following a long illness,. She was born March 15, 1920 in Alberta, Canada to Austin and Gertrude (Moore) Ertel. She married Mervyn Hiram Keyser May 21, 1938 in Caro. He died November 16, 1999.

Martha worked for Walbro Manufacturing for about five years. She was a member of Friends of the Library for many years and was a member of Greenleaf Extension. Martha enjoyed making many beautiful crafts, sewing and she loved to read.

Martha is survived by her children: Carol (John Franzel) Becker of Ubly, Larry (Bunny) Keyser of Ubly; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Helen Keyser of Cass City; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Dan Keyser; son-in-law, Charles Gene Becker; grandson, Matthew Keyser; eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. Jackie Roe of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Keyser will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to Rawson Memorial Library.
