NANCY LEE KESSLER
Nancy Lee Kessler, 63, of Cass City passed peacefully Thursday, July 28, 2016. She was born April 16, 1953 in Ubly to Theodore Roman and Gertrude Minnie (Kruger) Peplinski. She married Dennis Allen Kessler December 8, 1979 in Cass City.
Nancy enjoyed riding horses when she was younger and graduated from Ubly High School. She worked as a cashier for IGA in Cass City, for Walbro Manufacturing in Cass City and later for TI Automotive in Caro until retiring. Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren, arranging flowers, walking with her Shih Tzu, Lacie Lou Kessler. She liked camping at Outdoor Adventure in Standish and watching her favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. race on television. Nancy had a great appreciation for books and was an avid reader. She spent many hours volunteering at the food pantry.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Rachael (Clem) Koepf of Cass City; son, Richard Kessler of Cass City; grandchildren: Ryan Koepf, Kayla Koepf, Kyle Koepf, Makena Kessler and Brayden Kessler; brother, William (Rose) Peplinski of Perry, FL; many nieces and nephews; special family members, Kenneth (Mary Ann) Kessler. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Alexander Kessler; mother and father-in-law, Donna (Fred) Profit.
Memorial service held Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. Duane Plonta of Farver Baptist Church of Gagetown officiating.
