KENNETH JAMES DUFFIELD
Kenneth J. Duffield, 54, of Caseville, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, Saginaw. He was born August 23, 1969 in Wyandotte, MI. As a child, he moved to the Thumb area where he was raised by Jean McFadden and step-father, Gilbert McFadden. Kenneth attended Lakers Schools where he graduated. Following high school he enlisted in the United Sates Army. He worked as a missile repair man and on the Tow and Dragon weapons during Desert Storm. After retiring from the Army, Kenneth performed maintenance work for ACI Plastics and then Blue Chip Manufacturing. He had many hobbies outside of work including camping, boating, boat racing, photography, computer gaming, and riding his motorcycle. Kenneth enjoyed every Saturday because it was tacos for dinner and tacos were his favorite food. He loved the holidays when our family would gather under one roof and we would joke, laugh, and celebrate.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Jean McFadden; daughters: Arlene (Jacob) Carr; Kayla (Kile) Duffield-Dore; grandchildren: Laurie Duffield, Fraya Carr, Nevaeh Duffield, Karter Dore, Aurelia Carr; brother, Joe (Karen) Duffield; sister, Beth Cole; step-brother, Mike McFadden; step-sister, Joan Wildon, nephew, Alex Hacker, niece, Kiah Hacker; and his dogs, Sammie Lee and Snickers.
Memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Chuck Carr officiating. Military honors conducted by the U.S. Army honor guard and the Cass City V.F.W. Post # 3644 honor guard.
