BONNIE JEAN KAPPEN
Bonnie Jean Kappen, 61, of Caro, died peacefully Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born September 30, 1954 in Cass City to Wallace "Wally" and Shirley (Koehler) Kappen.
Bonnie graduated from Cass City High School in 1972. She worked for Walbro Manufacturing for a short time then managed the Dairy Queen in Caro. Bonnie enjoyed going for a walk, knitting and crocheting. She loved spending the Christmas holiday with her children and grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Daniel) Deshetsky of North Branch; son, Troy (Brooke) Roller of Vicksburg; Grandchildren: Autumn, Drake, Alana, Aubree, and Allysse Deshetsky, Madelyn, Cohen, William, and Alice Roller; mother, Shirley Kappen of Cass City; brothers: Ronald (Sue) Kappen of Cass City, Robert (Crystal) Kappen of Cass City, John "Jack" (Susan) Kappen of Cass City; sister: Victoria (Kenneth) Proctor of Akron; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Wally Kappen; brother Charles Kappen; niece, Aleigh Kappen.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City, with Rev. Steve Bagnall officiating. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
