JUDITH LYNNE BOYCE
Judith L. Boyce, 71, of Cass City, went to meet her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born August 16, 1953 in Cass City, the oldest child born to Herbert David and Mary Louise (Caister) Pallas. She married James Oliver Boyce, Sr. on August 17, 1985, in Novesta Baptist Church. He died November 26, 2016.
Judy had a flair for gardening and took great pride in her gorgeous flowerbeds at her home on Seeger St. She enjoyed painting, doing artwork, and cooking with her children and grandchildren. Judy was cherished by many of her children’s friends, many referring to her as Mama Bo. She delighted in family gatherings. Judy loved making sure everyone felt special and was well-fed. Even if you were full, she would make sure you ate more. Judy worked with her husband, Jim, as the manager of Cass City Siding. She also worked at Huron Castings in Pigeon and Walmart in Caro.
Judy is survived by her children: Misty (Steven) Shafer of Harrison Township, Tina (Mark) Keefover of Sandusky, Angela (Heith) Forster of Gagetown, James (Jessica) Boyce Jr. of Cass City, and Krysta Boyce of Cass City; grandchildren: Steven Shafer, Michael (Haley) Harp, Timothy (Emily Cole) Harp, Thomas (Makayla Ramirez) Harp, Corbin Forster, Courtney Forster, Aubrey Boyce, Madilynn Brown, and Noah Brown; great-grandchildren: Carter Harp, Cooper Cole-Vincent, Caleb Cole, Logan Drake, Bailie Cole-Harp, Remington Harp, Lola Harp, Oliver Cole-Harp, Jaxton Harp, and Lydia Harp; sister Sandra (Daniel) Widdis of Jenison; many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; sister, Karla Sue Pallas; brother, Wayne Pallas.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Cass City Missionary Church with Pastor Jeremy Woodall officiating. Memorials may be made to Krysta Boyce to be used for the family’s discretion.
