MYRA CAROLYNE JORDAN
Myra C. Jordan, 81, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 3, 2007 in Caro Community Hospital. She was born April 24, 1926 in Detroit to Clifford and Leona (Coulter) Eickhoff. She married Frank Jordan August 10, 1946 in Hazel Park. He died August 16, 1981.
Myra worked as a waitress at Martin’s Restaurant for 13 years and then for Rex Binder Lawn and Garden Equipment for about 18 years. Myra volunteered for Caro Community Schools as a crossing guard for a few years before her illness. Myra was a life member of the DAV Auxiliary and a charter member of Holbrook Baptist Church.
Myra is survived by her children: Judy (Lloyd) Montreuil of Cass City, Nancy (Dalbert) Wright of Cass City, Robert (Patricia) Jordan of Applegate; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; two step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Frank Jordan, Jr.; grandson, Dalbert Wright, Jr.; sister, Kathleen Martin; brother, William Eickhoff.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. David Hill of Cass City First Baptist Church officiating. Memorials may be made to Cass City First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Jordan: Scott Cook, Don McGregor, Steven Wright, Donald Montreuil, Jeff Naegele, Bobby Jordan.
