JOANN JANE REPSHINSKA

JoAnn J. Repshinska, 88, of Gagetown died peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in Timberline Lodge of Caro. She was born December 26, 1935 in Pigeon to Gordon and Hazel (Hamilton) Miller. She married Paul Lawrence Repshinska on January 12, 1957 in Pigeon. He preceded her in death on August 2, 2019.

JoAnn was a long-time resident of Gagetown before transitioning to Timberline Lodge of Caro where she enjoyed her time there immensely the past four years. She enjoyed watching a variety of sci-fi series, horror movies, and music programs on the RFD Network. JoAnn was a homemaker, a devoted wife, and mother. She loved caring for her grandchildren. JoAnn found joy in picking flowers from her small rose garden. JoAnn would never miss an opportunity for an adventure and gathering with her family. She was always invested in what her family was doing. Her family will miss her smile and the beautiful twinkle in her eye. 

JoAnn is survived by her daughters: Connie St. John of Linwood; Cathy (James) LeValley of Unionville; Peggy Frappart of Pigeon; Penny (Eric) Downing of Bay City; seven grandchildren: Angela Guster, Marcie Papkey, Matthew Frappart, Stacy Binder, Renee Clark, Allisa LeValley, Amanda Downing; ten great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; grandson, Kristopher Repshinska; son-in-law, Keith Frappart; siblings: Frances, Elizabeth, Doris, Ralph. 

Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Sam Leppert, Funeral Celebrant officiating. Interment in St. Agatha Cemetery, Gagetown. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Consolata Food Pantry.
