HELEN M. JEZEWSKI
Helen M. Jezewski, 87, of Cass City, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born August 20, 1920 at home in Novesta Township to William and Hattie (Muck) Joos. She married Walter Jezewski March 26, 1940 in Cass City. He died October 5, 1987.
Helen was one of the first 5 employees who worked at Walbro Cass City. She was a member of the Hills & Dales General Hospital Auxiliary for over 20 years. She has contributed over 7000 hours of service since 1980. Helen co-chaired the Auxiliary blood drive since 1990. Helen was a member of Salem United Methodist Church since 1941 and served as their janitor for 12 years and continued as a member of Cass City United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women.
Helen is survived by her son, James L. (JoAnn) Jezewski of Port Huron; grandson, Jason (Michelle) Jezewski of Malstrom Air Force Base, Montana; great granddaughter, Megan Jezewski of Anchorage, AK; brother, Maurice Joos; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her son, John and sister, Lena Hanes.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Kranz Funeral Home �- Cass City with Rev. Paul Donelson of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hills & Dales General Hospital Auxiliary or Cass City United Methodist Church.
