JANET LYNN MARKER
Janet L. Marker, 76, of Marlette, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper, Saginaw. She was born August 27, 1947 to Maurice and Evelyn (Henderson) Chriscinske in Imlay City. She married Lynn Marker on February 8, 1967 in Imlay City.
Janet graduated from Imlay City High School. She attended nursing school in Port Huron and in Bad Axe in pursuit of a career in nursing. For over thirty years Janet worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, for Tendercare of Cass City and later for Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center of Mayville. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling and Bingo. Janet cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her husband, Lynn; her daughter, Nichole Nicol; grandchildren: Samantha (Skylar) Cooper, Tabatha (Charles) Myers, Ryan Marker, William Haas, Matthew Haas; many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Woodward; sister, Alice Smith.
Graveside service held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 in Evergreen Township Cemetery, Decker with Pastor Jep Bryant of Living Word Worship Center officiating. Memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family.
