DENNIS DALE JAMES, "The Wrangler"
66, of Kingston died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in his home. He was born October 9, 1945 in Trenton to Orville and Julia (Tartar) James. He married Susan Louise Selinski February 19, 1966 in St. Alfred's Church, Taylor.
Dennis worked as a cable splicer for DTE for over 38 years until his retirement in 2004. Dennis loved spending time with his family and he loved his country. He enjoyed caring for his beautiful yard, gardening, playing his guitar and pheasant hunting.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Susan; children: Denise (Ron) Borisenko of Grand Blanc, Mark (Della) James of Kingston, Sara (Tim) Hannick of Wapello, IA, David (Stacey) James of Kingston; grandchildren: Megan, Dylan, Hunter, Hannah, Hayden, Trent, Anna, Finnian, Tanner; brother, Ronald (Dorothy) James of Howell; many nieces and nephews. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 in Kingston Wesleyan Church with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating. Interment is in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. James: John Selinski, Rick Fuller, Pete Selinski, Dave Emeigh, Jim Powell and Buddy Marquardt. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
